Trading Journal

Log it, review it,
and let it tell you something.

A journal is only worth keeping if something reads it back to you. Every review here is graded the same way, which is what makes the analytics possible.

Where you stand

The numbers that decide whether you should trade at all today.

What is open, what is at risk against your cap, how much of the daily loss limit is used, and what needs you first.

Focus and activity

What to work on, and what you have been doing.

The habits your own record says are costing you most, beside a running log of every entry, stop move and exit with its reason.

Trade review

The card that turns a closed trade into data.

Every review grades the same things in the same way — entry quality, stop discipline, exit efficiency, plan adherence, and the mistake if there was one. That is what makes the analytics possible: they are not a guess about your trading, they are the sum of these.

Reviews, tasks and rules

What is waiting to be graded.

Trades closed but not yet reviewed, the tasks that came out of the last ones, and the rules simulator that shows what a proposed rule would have done to your actual history.

Broker sync

A read-only copy of your broker trades, in your Journal automatically.

When you first connect your brokerage through SnapTrade, Ironline automatically imports up to 30 days of recently executed trades as reviewable Journal drafts. Ongoing sync keeps a read-only copy of the trades you place on your broker platform. Ironline cannot place, change or cancel orders in your account, and imported trades enter your Journal only after you approve them. You can also import any broker's CSV or enter a trade manually, then match each fill to its plan and review it for your analytics.

  • First sync: up to 30 days of trades
  • Review drafts before Journal entry
  • Read-only broker connection
  • CSV import or manual trade entry
